Baseball cap origin and history

Baseball caps have been developed along with baseball. Baseball is a ball sport with a strong collective and antagonistic nature. It is widely developed internationally and has a greater impact. It is known as the "combination of sports and wisdom". It is especially popular in the United States and Japan and is called the "national ball." 

It is precisely because of the great influence of baseball that baseball caps have also flourished with the development of baseball. According to the research of relevant experts in the United States over the years, it is believed that baseball is derived from British cricket (Cricket is also called Rounder). 

In 1839, the American Doubleday organized the first game that closely resembled modern baseball. In the game, the players first put on hats to cover the sun. Due to its particularity, the brim of the hat was longer to block the sun's eyes and get better results. This is the earliest baseball cap.

At first, baseball caps were not accepted in people's lives. They were considered as special items for athletes. In 1839, the first ever baseball game was held in Gupas Town, New York, USA. 

In 1860, professional baseball players began to appear in the United States. In 1871, the United States established the "National Professional Baseball Players Organization"; in 1876, the organization was renamed the "American Baseball Federation." In 1881, another national professional baseball organization was established, later the "National Professional Baseball Federation". In 1884, the championship game between these two organizations was held for the first time, the "World Baseball Championship." Since then, in 1910, then US President William Howard Taft (William Howard Taft) formally approved baseball as the "national ball" of the United States. As a result, baseball caps have also become popular in various baseball teams. At first, the players only used to block the sun. Later, regardless of rain or shine, people would wear baseball caps as long as the game was played. In 1873, baseball was introduced to Japan from the United States. The Japanese professional baseball team was founded in 1934. Baseball caps have also been introduced to the Japanese baseball team. After the Second World War, baseball sports quickly developed in various European countries. 

Baseball has been carried out in more than 100 countries and regions on the five continents of the world. Baseball caps became popular all over the world, but they were limited to baseball players. People did not regard baseball caps as daily necessities. Baseball caps became the iconic decoration of baseball players at that time.
